Alexander Jansons Myocarditis UK hosted another successful five-a-side football tournament at Goals Ruislip on Saturday 8th June with 12 teams entering. The first tournament was 10 years ago and it is great that it is still going strong!

Henry headed up the Jansons Property team and surprised himself with his squad selection, managing to reach the quarter finals (losing to the eventual winners). Bags of heart, physicality and a few moments of quality were pleasing. Semi finals are very much the target for next year!

Tom meanwhile put together his ‘Mondos’ team who were a very strong side. Full of experienced operators, they reached the final but younger legs proved the difference with Oreo’s FC winning 7-3 in the end.

A great day had by all and Tom & Henry haven’t stopped complaining about their sore bodies since! Maybe an office physio subscription is on the cards?!

Thanks to all for playing and for the funds & awareness we raised in the process.
